Waxing Moon//Virgo into Libra

**The waxing moon phase is actually the perfect time for beginning new projects, and I'm hoping to harness some of the transitioning Virgo/Libra energy and funnel it into this website launch. Virgo brings focus, organization and attention to detail, Libra brings socializing, balance and pleasing aesthetics. In my opinion, this makes a perfect combination for a website launch!

So anyway....

Huzzah! It's my very first Magick Monday post! Every Monday, I'll post some kind of spellwork; a ritual, a meditation, a blessing, etc. They'll vary in levels of complexity, but for the most part, they will be spells that anyone can pull off. Since this is the very first spell I'm posting on this brand new site, I wanted to post a spell for success!

Colors: Yellow for success, orange for creativity.

Crystals: Aventurine for motivation, citrine for focus.

Herbs: Allspice for determination, cinnamon for passion.

Cast circle in your preferred method. Light a yellow or orange candle (heck, use both if you have 'em) and arrange your crystals intuitively. For each line of the spell below, sprinkle a pinch of the herbs over the flame.

"Maiden Goddess, spirit bright, who blossoms forth in spring, please share the emerging energy of the Earth. Mother Goddess, warming flame, who shines throughout the summer, please share the fertility of your fires. Ancient Goddess, vessel of wisdom, who holds us close in the season of slumber, please share the knowledge of the ages. Goddess, in all your forms, lend your guidance and support to this undertaking. Let it be my best work and the best expression of the gifts I possess. So mote it be."

Allow the candle to burn down, do not extinguish it yourself. Bury any spell debris in a special place, like a garden or beneath a tree.
