This week, our featured Wisdom Wednesday deck is... The SoulSpace Oracle by @jenberlingo, a transpersonal art therapist and reiki master! This incredible watercolor deck, inspired by the art therapy Jen does for a living, is both intuitive and beautiful.

Card 1 (Plant) OPEN
Oh...I love this card. It always feels like a breath of fresh air when this card appears; it's so inviting and encouraging! Stay open. Think about that phrase: stay open. Open to the possibilities, stay open to the potential, stay open to hope and love and faith and strength. Let it all in, keep that door OPEN.
Likewise, stay open during the tough shit. The yucky, uncomfortable, downright painful moments. Don't close down and turn away; feel all that pain, let it break you OPEN. Be brave, stay open through the pain... because that's where the transformation happens. It's the cracked ones that let in the light, as they say.
Card 2 (Stone) GEZELLIG
"Gezellig" is a Dutch abstract concept word, one we don't have an equivalent for in English. It refers to the happy, warm and fuzzy feeling that fills our spirits when we are surrounded by those we love. That feeling of "home" when surrounded by our dearest friends. It's time to put yourself out there again, reach out to your loved ones and celebrate! Celebrate your relationships, celebrate your accomplishments, celebrate old memories...and make some new ones!
There is an ebb and flow to life. Nothing stays the same forever, and neither can we, because...well, how boring would that be? Just as there are times when we should retreat and spend time in introspection, reflecting on ourselves and our role in the Universe, there are also times when we need to get back out there, with the rest of humanity!
(I'm not saying "You have to go to ragers and dance around with glowsticks". I"m not even saying you have to go to parties or large gatherings, because let's face it: that's not everyone's cup of tea. But on that note... what is your cup of tea? A shopping spree with your best friend? Mani/pedis and sushi with your sister? You and a few close friends, one too many bottles of wine and a favorite chick flick? Be social however you desire to be social. Don't try to be something you're not if you KNOW it will make you uncomfortable. You know your own limits better than anyone.)
Whatever floats your boat, that's the point. But it's time to connect, to reach out, to show up.
Card 3 (Feather) CURIOUS
It's time to think outside the box! I don't know about you, but this card's imagery just screams that classic saying at me. Get out of your comfort zone, stop playing it safe! Ask questions, push the boundaries, take a risk! It's time to blur the lines a little bit and stop playing by everybody else's rules; make your own rules instead. Or hell, no rules at all!
Get excited about something again. Find whatever it is that sparks your passion, that piques your curiosity! What have you always wanted to learn about? What skill or craft have you always been intrigued by? Painting? Gardening? Cooking French cuisine? Maybe you've always wanted to learn how to speak Mandarin, or try your hand at sewing. What better time to start than now? What do you have to lose?
