SNAKE

"What would your life be like if you awoke your untapped potential?"

Snake is possibly one of the most powerful and well-known animal guides in the magickal world and pagan community. It is a powerhouse of ability, full of ancient wisdom and cultural significance.

It's most powerful attribute is transformation, symbolized by the shedding of its skin. Not only is this a reflection of the immortality of our souls, that we are reborn time and time again... but it also speaks to the more direct and visible changes we as spiritual beings go through. We are not the same people we were 1 year ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. Snake guides us through these changes with a low whisper: it's not the end of the world; it's only the beginning.

Snake is always in control; it senses all changes in its environment through its powerful sensory abilities. It knows when enemies approach, when prey is nearby, sensing all movement and scent. It is aware of its surroundings, knowing the best place to hide or to cool down. We can translate this ability into being aware of everything around us; Snake people always just seem to know. They have an ability to not only predict oncoming chaos, but to maneuver around it, staying calm in the midst of the storm. They don't let things take them by surprise. Natural intuitives, Snake people are very commonly clairsentient and claircognizant (see my recent blog post on the psychic abilities for info on those talents). They read everyone around them with ease, able to slip into people's minds and explain their thoughts and feelings, sometimes even better than the person could.

Change is coming, and you are at the center of it all; you are the catalyst. There is no reason to fear these changes; simply decided what direction you wish to go in from here and move forward. Be clear with your intentions and know that you are worthy.
