Full Moon Ritual
This is a ritual for companionship and love. You will need:
- a lavender candle and holder
- jasmine oil
- jasmine incense
Set up your altar with the candle in the center and light the incense. Stand quietly, eyes closed, and visualize the room filling up with a golden swirling light. Raise your arms in greeting and face the East.
"Within this secret place, hidden from the world,
Outside of time and free of control by man,
I worship in this sacred center.
I greet the Old Gods once again."
Anoint the lavender candle with the jasmine oil from top to bottom. Place it in the candleholder.
"Love in all its many forms,
Sweetness, joy, delight.
Bless me with, sweet Goddess,.
Brighten each new night."
Think happy, loving thoughts. Dance, sing, lose yourself in music. Feel the positive energies pouring into and out of your heart chakra. Then stand facing East once again and say:
"The Full Moon rises over the hill.
Mother, hear me!
Lead me with your loving will.
Mother, hear me!
Grant me joy, my wishes fulfill.
Mother, hear me!"
Light the candle and allow it to burn out completely.
